Casa Ars Natura is situated in the heart of old town Grožnjan. Stone made house form 17th century, perfectly preserved and rich in history.

From the beginning the house was of great importance for Grožnjan. Even today you can still see red and white painted tiles, a symbol of wealth, prosperity and power that just few houses in Grožnjan could carry.

Historical heritage and respect were the main principles during the reconstruction of this historical house. Main elements like front door with keyhole, staircase, beams, fireplace are all original historic elements dated form the time the house was built. Terrace, the jewel of the house, is a place that will awaken all your senses in this Mediterranean oasis in the middle of rocky Grožnjan.

Grožnjan is a place of great cultural significance on the Croatian and international scene.

Grožnjan is also the center of the international jazz festival – Jazz is back.

Every year, at the beginning of May, the streets and squares of Grožnjan experience a metamorphosis and turn into an artistic gathering place. Summer music academies for young people, art, dance, drama and peace activism workshops all take place during this eventful part of the year. Then art lovers, actors, musicians, tourists and locals are taking over this historic town. You can see them enjoying the homemade liquor sitting on stone benches or terraces with stairways traditionally called “baldurs”. They are talking about another world where life is simple, fluttery and calm just like in some utopian story. With music playing in the background, You can see smiles on their faces and feel peace in their hearts while enjoying the sunrise and sunset.
