Guided by the fact how great is the importance of Grožnjan for population of music and art in general, we wanted to create a vacation house that would awaken all the senses of its visitors and enable a complete and unique experience of its visitors of Istria and of Grožnjan.
Designing a place where our guests would experience Istria by staying in its heart, the possibility to wake up with its inhabitants, drinking they morning coffee with them, finding friends and listening the stories of interesting people for whom Grožnjan is a temporary or permanent home, enjoying the rehearsals and concerts of some of the best jazz musicians in the world, enraptured by the beauty, peace, perfect climate and uniqueness of Grožnjan, Casa Ars Natura II proved to be ideal for the realization of such a idea.

A beautiful small stone house in an apparently hidden street in the heart of Grožnjan, perfectly positioned, just a few steps from all events, was for us love at first sight and an easy choice to start creating another new unique story.

In the renovation of the house, a special attention was paid to the smallest details, creating a synergy of design, art and the Mediterranean environment. Providing our guests a unique design, adapted to all the luxurious habits of the urban person from the 21st century, but also managing to keep the original appearance of the Mediterranean decoration using natural materials, colors and unique charm of Groznjan was our primary goal.

When you step in the Casa Ars Natura II, you will find a space of an authentic Istrian house, meticulously redesigned and interiorly harmonized, starting with the kitchen, enough equipped to prepare more demanding delicacies, the dining room and the living room, a specially designed iron stairs leads to the upper floor, there is a bedroom with a bathroom and the uniqueness of the whole houses, a relax room dominated by a designer bathtub, with an antique crystal chandelier, a fireplace, an armchair for resting, reading, listening music from a gramophone, finding a colection of old records, a place for relaxation and complete enjoyment, a place where balance and harmony between soul, mind and body is guaranteed.

In front of the house, a Mediterranean green atmosphere has been created, with carefully selected Mediterranean plants, an ideal place for an evening glass of wine by candlelight and with the notes and voices of some of the musicians, which naturally flows through the streets of Grožnjan.

In addition to designer pieces, quality furniture like are Gervasoni, Thonet, Antonio Lupi and similar world-renowned brands, the house hides many interesting and special antique pieces from Istrian traditional decoration and that’s not only that, some things were brought from abroad and collected in various corners of the world.

One of them is a three-legged lamp in the living room, bought in Prague, which was part of the scene during the filming of the phenomenal series Carnival Row, in which Orlando Bloom and Cara Delavigne play the main roles.
